Mission Ranch Sheep Sheltered,

"Mission Ranch Meadow" a beautiful setting overlooking a green meadow with Mascot sheep grazing. With Carmel California highlands of the Santa Lucia mountains in the background, off in the distance Carmel River Beach and Point Lobos, nearby Monastery Beach. Take the view as the shepherd move the sheep in from grazing. In the 1850's, the property became one of the first of the early California dairies. My wife and I have enjoyed many Sunday Brunch, at the restaurant and to just relax and have a cocktail hors d'oeuvre on the patio. The ranch and restaurant is owned by Clint Eastwood. Clint saved the historic 150-year-old Mission Ranch—a setting long remembered for barn dances, dining and local tradition—from becoming condominiums in the 1980’s, stating “I will do the best I can to keep it like it is.”
